Summer reading plans?

Okay, jumping the gun a bit, but I thought it would be fun to find out what people are looking forward to reading this summer, and maybe to get some recommendations at the same time. Here are some of the books on my general reading list, if not my summer list. I’ll be reading something this summer – hopefully on a beach, maybe in a park, and mostly at home with something cold to drink. Here are some I’m considering:

Storybound by Marissa Burt

The Million Dollar Mermaid by Esther Williams

Deadlocked by Charlaine Harris

The Sisters of Sinai, How Two Lady Adventurers Discovered the Hidden Gospels by Janet Soskice

Paris in Love: A Memoir by Eloisa James

Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon (I started a while ago, but had just read the intense Outlander and had to hold off finishing….)

What are you planning to read? And where?

  1. My summer reading just continues my _winter_ reading: I love biographies and histories. I HIGHLY recommend the Jane Austen Guide to Happily Ever After by Elizabeth Kantor.
